Save the Dates! Arts Faculty Search candidates will give public lectures. Students, faculty, staff and the public are encouraged to attend. Most lectures will take place at 4:30 pm in Nevins Theater- unless otherwise indicated.

Black Glass Artists Series Ashley Raye Harris

The Black Glass Artists Series guest artist Ashley Harris will be in Alfred the week of 2/3/2025 with demonstrations, class visits, and artist lectures. Demonstrations will take place in the glass studio no February 4 and 6 from 1:30-3:30pm. A public lecture will be given on February 6 at 4:30pm in Binns-Merrill Hall room 106

IEA Artist-in-Residence GHAZAL RAMZANI

Ghazal Ramzani is a Berlin-based Iranian dancer, choreographer, dance filmmaker, and facilitator who will be joining the Institute for Electronic Arts from February 4th to 15th. Her choreographic practice is deeply rooted in indigenous dance forms, particularly Kathak and Iranian movement traditions, and center on marginalized and undocumented stories.
