Andy Cain

Andrew Cain is a multi-disciplinary artist from Modesto, California. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Queensland College of Art in Brisbane, Australia, in 2009, and his Master of Fine Arts from The School and The Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in 2022. Cain’s work emphasizes community engagement and spatial dynamics, utilizing a diverse range of mediums, including installations and interactive pieces for galleries and museums. His interdisciplinary approach also includes low-budget horror films, podcasts, and lively commentary at wrestling matches in his hometown—because mixing art with a dash of chaos is always fun. Currently, Cain serves as the SDS Tech Specialist for Sculpture and is an adjunct instructor at Alfred University, where he is dedicated to fostering collaboration and critical dialogue among emerging artists.
